Attend the 2026 Seattle Deaf Film Festival hosted by Deaf Spotlight either in person April 10th-12th, hybrid or virtual April 13th-26th! You can purchase event tickets at www.SeattleDeafFilmFestival.com.

The 2026 Seattle Deaf Film Festival will showcase 38 films by Deaf filmmakers from 12 countries covering a variety of topics reflecting the greater community. These films will cover such topics as: Deaf identity, love, professional lives, Deaf culture, family relationships and dynamics. Films will also be presented in a variety of styles including but not limited to feature, documentary, expressionism, shorts, comedy, thriller, sci-fi, realism, narrative, and arthouse. These dynamic films will present themes of autonomy, persistence, personal agency, accessibility, and communication barriers. (Up to 1.45 Professional Studies CEUs can be earned depending on the amount of films you participate in).

Project Requirement: You must document each program you watch from the 2026 Seattle Deaf Film Festival. You will also answer 3 reflective questions for each program feature film or short film set to document your participation and learning.

You will need to download your application (email link is good for 24 hours), fill out the application, and email it to CEU@HSDC.org PRIOR to beginning the film festival.
